What to Expect at FINA
Upon scheduling your first consultation, we will have you go to our patient portal and fill out some basic information about yourself and your history before coming to FINA. Completing this information helps us be thorough and prepared to meet you before your consultation.

Your first visit is an opportunity for our fertility team to get to know you, understand your history, and learn more about your goals for growing your family. You’ll meet with one of our experienced providers to review your health history, discuss your concerns, and begin developing a personalized plan for your care. We encourage both partners to attend this first visit whenever possible, but we understand that schedules do not always allow for that. Our goal is to make your first appointment comfortable, informative, and a positive first step in your fertility journey.
Monitoring where you are in your menstrual cycle in relation to ovulation is important. This can be the most tiresome part of most fertility treatment plans because it often requires multiple visits during a single cycle. During these monitoring visits, you will have your blood drawn and sometimes an ultrasound performed.
At FINA we strive to stay on time out of respect for each patient’s busy schedule. Similarly, we ask that patients make every effort to be on time for their appointments out of courtesy for other patients.
